Come, design, and test your beer recipe at the experimental microbrewery of the Hop Research Institute in Žatec.

Take advantage of our many years of experience and our selection of Czech (from our own production) and foreign hop varieties, all in collaboration with our brewmaster and other experts from the Hop Research Institute.

Brewing facilities

Brewhouse A

  
70 liters of wort (50 liters of beer)
  
mashing and wort kettle

whirlpool tun with cooling
  
hop-back extractor (option to add hops using dried or fresh cones)

Brewhouse B

  
3 wort kettles, 3 lauter tuns
  
Allows for 3 different hop additions from the same wort; traditional fermentation in a fermentation room and lager cellar
  
4 x CKT (55 liters), dry hopping capability

Fermentation room (both ambient and controlled cooling)

Lagering – stainless steel KEGs (5–50 liters)

Filtration – plate filter

Bottling into 0.33 L bottles under inert atmosphere, PET bottles
